Abstract:In der Vergangenheit folgte die europäische Integration meistens einem Muster: Wiederkehrende Krisen wurden durch neue Integrationsschübe überwunden. Solche kriseninduzierten Integrationsdynamiken lassen sich begrifflich als "Entwicklungskrisen" (Deppe 1993, S. 55) fassen.
