Volvulus of Sigmoid Colon in Pregnancy

Abstract

Obstetric case reports 345 deterioration is the rule (Lockwood P I a/., 1987).T h e case presented here in conjunction with the foregoing discussion a n d the reports of abnormal concentrations of maternal serum a-fetoprotein in association with chromosomal abnormalities other than triploid pregnancy, suggests that chromosome analysis of amniotic fluid cells should be considered in patients with abnormal maternal and amniotic fluid 8-fetoprotein.
