“…According to Cahaya et al [10], employee-related disclosures can be viewed from two perspectives: intellectual capital disclosures [8,9] and labor-related CSR disclosures [14,18,39]. As regards the former perspective, employees are part of a firm's human capital, which includes "knowledge, skills and technical ability, and personal qualities such as aptitude, attitude, energy, intelligence, commitment, the ability to learn, aptitude, creativity, imagination, collaboration, team participation and a focus on achieving the objectives of the employer company" [40] (p. 257).…”

“…Mixed methods integration was achieved by using merging in 13 (62 per cent) of the papers, followed by a building integration in four (19 per cent) and connecting integration in two (10 per cent) of the papers. Two (10 per cent) of the articles, one using a convergent design (Papageorgiou et al, 2014) and the other an exploratory design (Loliwe, 2016), did not use merging integration, but rather data transformation. In terms of reporting on the mixed methods integration, 18 (86 per cent) of the studies made use of only a written narrative, a trend that was clear in all three of the core designs, one (5 per cent) used a joint display with two (10 per cent) not reporting on integration due to them having used data transformation as opposed to mixed methods integration.…”

“…The data from the questionnaires was captured on Excel by a research assistant (who possessed a postgraduate qualification) and the researcher reviewed the data for accuracy. This test is similar to the one used by Loliwe (2016) to minimise errors. The questionnaires collected mainly information regarding students' demographics, self-reporting and the six components of designing video lectures (or the six hypotheses, that is, H1 to H6) (See, Appendices A and B).…”
