In Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET), vehicles are connected and communicated among themselves with different purpose, which move at their relative high speed. Much of the focus surrounding VANET has targeted the framework, model, environment or protocols. Few performance analysis studies have been carry out on V2OIP application at rural and urban area. The present paper set out to study the performance analysis of V2oIP applications between users in different distance and range. The performance are measures on jitter, delay and MOS of the applications; video call, video streaming and video conferencing. Several recommendations are highlighted related to pursue in testing on other rural and urban areas, ISPs, number of users, network monitoring tools or video and voice activities.

In this paper, a performance analysis study for VoIP over mobile wireless ad hoc networks (MANET) is carried out using OPNET tool. The AODV, DSR, TORA, OLSR, and GRP routing protocols have been used as candidates to evaluate the impact of routing on quality of service (QoS) of VoIP application over MANET networks. Three different queuing mechanisms (FIFO, PQ, and WFQ) have been used also as nominee of queuing techniques. The VoIP is applied and the QoS is measured in terms of jitter delay, end-to-end packet delay, and wireless LAN media access delay and wireless throughput of 802.11 g technology with 54 Mbps. This study aims to analyze the performance of VOIP call android application in the MANET (mobile ad hoc network). The results showed that VoIP applications could be implemented in MANET network. The highest delay is produced in indoor testing A B S T R A KKata kunci : Android VoIP MANET Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja aplikasi VoIP call android di jaringan MANET (mobile ad hoc network). Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa aplikasi VoIP call android dapat digunakan di jaringan MANET. Delay yang dihasilkan paling besar di pengujian indoor dengan jarak 11-15 meter yakni sebesar 0,014624811 seconds. Packet loss yang dihasilkan pada range 1%-2%, sedangkan standar packet loss yang ditetapkan oleh CISCO untuk layanan aplikasi VoIP adalah < 5%. Jitter yang dihasilkan yakni antara 0,01-0,06 seconds sedangkan standar yang ditetapkan oleh CISCO adalah ≤ 30 ms atau 0,03 seconds. Throughput yang dihasilkan pada proses pengujian yakni antar 161 kbps-481 kbps. PendahuluanTeknologi smartphone saat ini berkembang pesat, memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan komunikasi, baik secara real-time ataupun tidak. Seiring dengan hal tersebut fitur aplikasi smartphone yang memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan komunikasi bermunculan mulai dari Mobile Yahoo Messenger, Kakao Talk, We Chat, Line, Bee Talk dan yang lainnya. Fitur aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut sangat mudah. Hanya dengan koneksi jaringan internet, para pengguna smartphone dapat melakukan komunikasi percakapan yang tanpa batas wilayah, dan dengan biaya yang murah. Sesungguhnya, konsep dari fitur aplikasi tersebut adalah memanfaatkan teknologi jaringan Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) sebagai akses internet multimedia system (IMS). Namun hal tersebut tidak terlepas dari konektivitas yang digunakan. Konektivitas wireless merupakan salah satu fitur konektivitas untuk melakukan komunikasi pada smartphone. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa pemampatan wireless adapter telah ada pada device saat ini. Keberadaan pemampatan wireless adapter tersebut dapat mendorong dalam membangun jaringan komunikasi lingkup kecil seperti Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). MANET adalah jaringan wireless yang terdiri dari kumpulan mobile node (mobile station) yang bersifat dinamik dan spontan, dapat diaplikasikan dimanapun tanpa menggunakan jaringan infrastruktur yang telah ada. Pada jaringan ad hoc setiap node tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pengirim dan penerima informasi tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai pendukung jaringan seperti router.
