Voice recording and analysis in locomotive safety controlling system

Abstract

Locomotive safety controlling system is very important in railway transportation. Compression, storage and analysis of voice data has shown its great usefulness. For voice restoration from mixed noise, digital filter denoising and joint time-frequency extraction is effective. Not only the SNR of the reconstructed signal improved greatly, most components of some random noise severely blurred voice signal can be removed as well. Clear voice is guaranteed to help the analysis in most of the case.
