Abstract:Juxtapapillary retinal capillary hemangiomas are sight-threatening hamartomas located on or adjacent to the optic nerve. Nonsurgical approaches including laser photocoagulation and cryotherapy have been shown to be effective to reduce exudation in peripheral hemangiomas.
