Vitiligo as a potential degenerative disease: from oxidative stress to cellular senescence

Abstract: Vitiligo is a depigmentation disorder characterized by the loss of melanocytes in the skin, which is aggravated by oxidative stress. The relationship between oxidative stress and cellular senescence is still unclear despite considerable research on melanocyte senescence in vitiligo in recent years.
