Vitamin K Prophylaxis in Infants

Abstract: A high incidence of Vitamin K deficiency bleeding (VKDB) in breastfed infants can cause life-long disability, especially if they occur in the brain. The way in which infants are administered vitamin K varies by country. Research on the optimal regimen of vitamin K prophylaxis administration has some limitations.
