Abstract:Vitamin E schützt als lipophiles unspezifisches Antioxidans die Membran‐Lipide körpereigener Zellen vor toxischen oxidierenden Radikalen. Während beim gesunden Menschen eine über die tägliche Erhöhung hinausgehende Zufuhr von Vitamin E in der Regel nicht notwendig ist, sind prophylaktische Gaben von ca. 100 mg/Tag bei ungewöhnlicher Belastung sinnvoll und seitens der Verträglichkeit unproblematisch.
