Vitamin D status and its association with depression in US women; results from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2005–6

Abstract: Recent interest in vitamin D has intensified with the discovery of vitamin D receptors in major organs such as the brain (1) and the potential for it to act as a neuro-active hormone.
