Vitamin D level in children with chronic kidney disease on conservative treatment – a pilot study

Abstract: Introduction: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is characterized by alteration of mineral metabolism of calcium and phosphorus related to phosphate retention, secondary hyperparathyroidism and impairment of vitamin D hydroxylation in the kidneys.
