Vitamin B12 deficiency in patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus treated with metformin: a cross section observational study from a tertiary care centre in Sub-Himalayan region of North India

Abstract: Background: Metformin is first line of treatment in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). It has been reported to be associated with vitamin B12 deficiency with variable results in various studies.
