Topics in learning mathematics are generally abstract in nature, while elementary school-age children think concretely. This makes a teacher must be able to manage learning mathematics well. The purpose of this study is to describe through concrete props in learning the material of the nets of simple space buildings can improve student learning outcomes. The method used is descriptive method with the form of research, namely classroom action research with 2 cycles. The research was conducted in class V at a elementary school in Hanoi City, Vietnam. The number of respondents consisted of 129 students consisting of 58 male students and 71 female students. Based on the first cycle, student learning completeness was only 37.21%. This achievement is classified as low. Based on reflection, cycle II made improvements in planning and in implementing learning. In cycle II there was an increase, where classical learning completeness became 96.89%. This shows that the use of concrete teaching aids in math learning can improve students' learning outcomes

Banyak penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan efektivitas pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan melalui media pembelajaran edukasi, dan pengenalan elemen permainan yang diperkaya baru-baru ini telah membuat permainan interaktif semacam itu semakin populer. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu peserta didik sekolah dasar mempelajari konsep-konsep yang berhubungan dengan sains dengan berpartisipasi dalam permainan kartu pendidikan, yaitu Cram flashcards. Peneliti kemudian menyelidiki persepsi peserta didik mengenai integrasi permainan ke dalam pembelajaran sains serta manfaat pendidikan dari permainan yang berkaitan dengan kinerja pembelajaran. Desain one-group pretest-post test diimplementasikan kepada 94 peserta didik sekolah dasar di Kota Gunungsitoli, Sumatera Utara, yang dipilih melalui pursposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa para peserta didik menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap penggunaan permainan kartu edukatif dalam pembelajaran sains. Hasil ini juga menunjukkan keefektifan permainan kartu pendidikan yang diusulkan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan sains tentang transportasi dan energi. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan agar para guru dapat mendalami sikap peseta didik terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan permainan kartu untuk mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur yang membangkitkan minat dan bagaimana pengetahuan diperoleh dari melalui media belajar interaktif ini.

Constructing Knowledge of Chinese Elementary Students in Plant Identification Learning through Cooperative Script Model

Elementary school students should always channel their talents in the learning process in order to be able to increase their knowledge in knowledge and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve plant recognition through cooperative script in elementary school students in Jinhua City, China, in which initially students cannot recognize the various names of plant characteristics. Through cooperative script, each learner is expected to be able to repeat and understand plant names easily. This research method used classroom action research. The subjects in this study were grade III elementary school students totalling 48 students. At the time of learning, the condition of students was still in the sense of lack of understanding of increasing knowledge, whereas at the time of the pre-cycle, only 14 students or with a percentage of 29.17% who passed the minimum completeness value. Then proceed to cycle I and as many as 37 students or with a percentage of 77.08% who passed the minimum completeness value. Moreover, cycle II continued with improved planning and accurate implementation, and the result revealed that all students passed the minimum completeness value. This finding indicates that with the cooperative script model, student learning is easier to accept because there is grouping and independence evenly and accountable empowering smaller and more influential groups.
