Visual prognosis after transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary adenoma and its relationship with retinal nerve fibre layer thickness

Abstract: Purpose: To report a case of pituitary adenoma showing the prognostic correlation between retinal nerve fibre layer analysis by OCT and the final postoperative visual result. Methods: A 55‐year‐old female patient with loss of visual acuity in the right eye. During the clinical study a pituitary adenoma was found.
