Abstract:BACKGROUND Ocular trauma is an important worldwide cause of visual morbidity. It includes a spectrum of simple ocular surface foreign bodies, minute corneal abrasions to devastating perforating injuries causing blindness. Children are particularly susceptible to ocular trauma.
