“…Nonetheless, the ERG variability is similar to that reported across laboratories, and the pediatric visual field test was validated against Goldmann perimetry [30]. Among the 27 patients tested longitudinally, only four showed systematic worsening of any parameter; that parameter was scotopic b-wave sensitivity, log r (Fig.…”

“…Visual fields were normal in 28 and abnormal in 11 (28 %). During the course of the study, one of these patients became capable of performing conventional Goldmann manual kinetic perimetry and Humphrey automated static perimetry; the results confirmed the presence of visual field abnormality as detected with the pediatric test procedure [30].…”

“…White Sphere Kinetic Perimetry has been done successfully in developmentally delayed children using a larger object (6 0 vs 1.7 0 for Goldman Kinetic Perimetry); 8/28 children or 29% were found to have visual field defects in this study (7 OBJECTIVES: To determine time to vigabatrin (VGB, Sabril; Lundbeck, Deerfield, IL) induced retinal damage in children with infantile spasms (IS) and to identify risk factors for VGB-induced retinal damage (VGB-RD). METHODS: Observational cohort study including 146 participants (68 female, 81 male) with IS, an age-specific epilepsy syndrome of early infancy, treated with VGB.…”
