“…Both microstructure and self-cleaning performance of the resultant RGO-TiO 2 nanocomposite coating immobilized on the surface of cotton fabrics were analyzed. The results of FESEM, AFM, XRD, Raman, particle size distribution, BET, TEM, and XPS verified that anatase TiO 2 nanoparticles were successfully incorporated with GO nanosheets to form the RGO-TiO 2 nanocomposite particles, which were chemically grafted with cotton fabric via the bonds of C-Ti 4 ( 3 )+ 2p3/2 /O-Ti 4 ( 3 )+ 2p3/2 and C-Ti 4 ( 3 )+ 2p1/2 /O-Ti 4 ( 3 )+ 2p1/2 . The as-synthesized anatase TiO 2 nanoparticles were not only immobilized on cotton fiber surfaces but also infiltrated into the substrate of cotton fibers.…”
