Abstract: In the manuscript, a novel method for the preparation of cyclopenta[ b ]chromenocarbonitrile derivatives via [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of substituted 3-cyanochromones and N -cyclopropyloamines initiated by visible light catalysis has been described.
