Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan daring Bahasa Inggris dan pembuatan video perjalanan virtual bagi para pemandu wisata tersertifikasi dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Terpilih 25 pemandu wisata dari 180 pendaftar menjadi peserta pelatihan ini. Dengan Atourin sebagai mitra kegiatan, tujuan pelatihan adalah memfasilitasi para pemandu wisata supaya mampu membuat video perjalanan virtual berbahasa Inggris sebagai promosi wisata yang dapat dinikmati orang asing dari rumah mereka di masa pandemi Covid-19. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua bulan dalam tujuh pertemuan daring melalui platform Zoom dengan masing-masing pertemuan berdurasi 120 menit. Di akhir kegiatan, peserta mampu membuat video perjalanan virtual mempromosikan daerah wisatanya masing-masing. Sebagai kesimpulan, kegiatan pelatihan sangat berhasil dilihat dari semangat belajar dan keaktifan para peserta di setiap pertemuan. Bagi para pemandu wisata peserta kegiatan, hasil kegiatan menjadi bahan penyegaran sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris sebelum kembali terjun dalam industri pariwisata pasca pandemi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan serupa di masa depan, misalnya pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM secara hybrid pasca pandemi yang memberi keleluasaan kepada peserta untuk memilih metode pembelajaran yang lebih nyaman sesuai kondisi.

This research aims to specifically assess the institutional resilience of tourism villages against the Covid-19 pandemic in four different tourist village categories. This research is qualitative in nature. The data collection was carried out through interviews with the head of the tourist villages, who played a crucial role during Covid-19 pandemic. Content analysis is used as an analytical technique in this study. The results of the study show that each category of tourist village displays varying degrees of institutional resilience when dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. In this context, the key factors distinguishing institutional resilience in each typology of tourist villages are primarily influenced by leadership and management, innovation, tourist visitor scale, local government support, and the determination of the community as actors in the tourism business. The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic prompted different action plans, scenarios, and policies in each tourist village. Furthermore, the pandemic encouraged tourism villages to innovate continuously such as by developing new tour packages, creating new attractions, revising tourist visit targets, enhancing product marketing systems, and fostering collaborations. The support and innovation from local governments also played a significant contribution in shaping the resilience of tourist villages. In conclusion, the Covid-19 pandemic has provided valuable lessons for tourism villages. The lessons include recognizing their potential and weaknesses, mapping resources for dealing with future disasters, optimizing the use of reserve funds, exploring new business opportunities, and developing the necessary mitigation efforts. These results have practical implications for the development policies of each category of tourist villages in the post Covid-19 pandemic era.

The development of digital technology and virtual reality has also given birth to virtual tourism innovations that impact improving the community's economy through training. This program is carried out to create virtual tourist villages, mainly based on virtual batik tourism so that batik artisans have more time to promote their products and the tourist aspect. The virtual tour-based batik village aims to make the batik artisan community more active in utilizing digital application platforms to market their products and produce practical marketing applications. This digital application makes it easier for buyers to find out the promotions being carried out by Bekasi batik by utilizing gadgets and taking advantage of the digital world. The training method uses a case study approach, discussion, and lecture and ends with a training evaluation. The results of the study are based on the review of the user experience of Bekasi city batik artisans; out of 50 respondents, it is found that 55% strongly agree that training materials and virtual tour systems that are socialized are easy to access, can develop digital village web-based virtual tours as well as a forum for urban batik promotion Bekasi. In the aspect of the desired goals of the Bekasi city batik artisans participants, out of 50 respondents, the result was that 65% strongly agreed that the learning objectives of the training and virtual tour system met the expectations of the respondents. It is the hope of the training participants that the problem of marketing the virtual tour system will be a solution to expand the marketing of batik in the City of Bekasi.
