Virtual Reality Versus Box Laparoscopic Simulators in Trainee Selection and Aptitude Testing

Abstract

In a selection center scenario, testing with low-fidelity platforms appears to demonstrate greater validity. Outliers can be identified using low-fidelity simulators.
