This editorial introduces the current Special Issue of Translational Issues in Psychological Science which provides novel research findings and perspectives on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) for psychological applications. The variety of topics presented in this themed issue underscore the broad applicability (and potential value) of VR technology for addressing the diverse challenges that psychologists face in clinical research and practice.
