The concept of a journal club has been around for decades and is a useful tool to help teach residents about evidence-based medicine. Although some students may be exposed to the concept during their third or fourth year of medical school, many do not have exposure to this until their residency. This innovation report describes a program to help introduce first and second-year medical students to a team-based approach to journal clubs so that they can apply principles of evidence-based practice early on in their medical school training.In the Fall of 2020, a faculty and student effort led by members of the internal medicine and family medicine interest groups met to form a team-based program approach to the journal club focusing on first and secondyear students. Teams of students were formed, and they were allowed to pick an article to review. They presented their findings to a group of students and faculty members via online meetings (due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) restrictions). This program has been introduced and done for two academic years. During that time, over 50 students participated in the program along with six faculty members. Countless students and faculty have been an audience to the presentations that have been done. The program is entering its third year of providing an engaging avenue for students to gain experience in analyzing articles and making presentations. The journal club program has and continues to be praised by faculty and students for its unique approach and style to a decade-old tradition.We recommend that medical schools and other health-science programs across the country consider introducing a program like this to help stimulate critical discussions in an era of increasingly published medical literature. It is critical that students be given a chance to apply evidence-based practices early on in their medical education careers.

CV. Rama Raiders was a home industry engaged in the fashion sector. The business had seven main stages of the production process: selecting materials, making patterns, cutting techniques, sewing processes, gluing processes, finishing/quality control, and packaging in carrying out production activities to achieve the desired quality CV. Rama Raiders still faces several obstacles, one of which is the presence of defective products produced, which causes product quality to decline. This research aims to identify the factors that cause sandals defects in CV. Rama Raiders. The methodology used the Seven tools and FMEA methods to determine the process of controlling leather sandal product defects using qualitative data. Corrective action plans used the 5W+1H concept to address each root cause of the problems. The results were that the most dominant type of defect in leather sandals was a type of glue defect that was not neat. The appearance was because of human and machine factors that didn't work optimally, tools that didn't support it, materials that didn't fit, inadequate environment, and no standard operating procedures. The improvements made by changing the glue, adding a brush, and making SOP improved the quality. From this research, the methods help reduce the problem of product defects experienced by the company

Objective: To determine the effectiveness of Orthopaedic virtual journal club started during COVID-19 pandemic. Study Design: Descriptive Cross sectional. Setting: Orthopaedic & Traumatology Division Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, Pakistan. Period: 6th February 2021 to 6th June 2023. Material & Methods: We selected one original article which was published in Journal of Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (JPOA).The author of that article would present it in synchronous virtual journal club (VJC) on Zoom. Orthopaedic residents from all over Pakistan attended the VJC. All the residents provided feedback (on 5 point Likert scale) by answering 11 questions related to various aspects of their learning experiences which were analyzed to measure the effectiveness of VJC. Results: We conducted 12 VJC on various topics. The total number of post graduate residence who attended these VJC were 380. Final year residents were more likely to attend VJC than first year residents (p=0.02). After 12 VJC the mean resident participation was 42±1.2. We received the feedback forms of 344(90.52%) residents. The VJC was extremely convenient to vast majority (86.62%, n=298) of residents. The VJC was perceived very effective and extremely valuable by 90.11% (n=310) and 84.59% (n=291) residents respectively. Majority (90.11%, n=310) of our residents strongly agreed that VJC provided them more understanding of writing an original article. Conclusion: Our transition from physical to virtual journal club was very fruitful. Virtual Journal club was an extremely convenient, very effective and extremely valuable form of distant learning. Knowledge, attitude and skills of the residents were improved which support them in their delivery of patient care and improved patient clinical outcome. The VJC provided the residents more understanding of writing an original article.
