Viral Metagenomics in the Clinical Realm: Lessons Learned from a Swiss-Wide Ring Trial

Abstract: Shotgun metagenomics using next generation sequencing (NGS) is a promising technique to analyze both DNA and RNA microbial material from patient samples.
