Viral infection of spermatozoa. Part 1. Hepatitis B virus and human papillomavirus (review)

Abstract: Intragametal viral infection of spermatozoa can cause true vertical transmission of viruses through germ cells. Currently, human papilloma-virus, including oncogenic risk strains, and hepatitis B virus, have been detected in spermatozoa.
