There has been a significant surge in web-based data interchange and digital entertainment consumption. The growing interest in digital watermarking over the last decade is undoubtedly attributable to the growing necessity for copyright protection. The use of video watermarking in copy control, transmission surveillance, fingerprints, video authentication, and copyright is growing exponentially. The primary characteristics of information concealment are capacity, safety, and resilience. Typically, video watermarking techniques prioritize resilience. In this article, we explore the concept of different watermarking techniques as well as the components necessary to create a watermarked that is effective for preventing piracy an important applications, and also focusing on the many areas of video watermarking approaches.

Video watermarking is an important means of video and multimedia copyright protection, but the current watermarking algorithm is difficult to ensure high robustness under various attacks. In this paper, a video watermarking algorithm based on NSCT, pseudo 3D-DCT and NMF has been proposed. Combined with NSCT, 3D-DCT and NMF, the algorithm embeds the encrypted QR code copyright watermark into the NMF base matrix to improve the anti-attack ability of the watermark under the condition of invisibility. The experimental results show that the algorithm ensures the invisibility of the watermark with a high signal-to-noise ratio of the video, and meanwhile has high ability and robustness against common single and combined attacks, such as filtering, noise, compression, shear, rotation and so on. The issue that the video watermarking algorithm has poor resistance to various attacks, especially the shearing attack, has been solved in this paper; thus, it can be used for digital multimedia video copyright protection.

Audio and Video Matching Zero‐Watermarking Algorithm Based on NSCT

In the Internet age, information security is threatened anytime and anywhere and the copyright protection of audio and video as well as the need for matching detection is increasingly strong. In view of this need, this paper proposes a zero-watermarking algorithm for audio and video matching based on NSCT. The algorithm uses NSCT, DCT, SVD, and Schur decomposition to extract video features and audio features and generates zero-watermark stream through synthesis, which is stored in a third-party organization for detection and identification. The detection algorithm can obtain zero watermark from the audio and video to be tested and judge and locate tampering by comparing with the zero watermark of the third party. From the experimental results, this algorithm can not only detect whether the audio and video are mismatched due to tampering attacks but also locate the mismatched audio and video segments and protect the copyright.
