Vibro-acoustic interaction of microsystem components in data storage devices

Abstract: Vibro-acoustic characteristics of compact data storage devices are not well understood. This study examines fundamental research issues of structure-borne noise through the sample case of 3.5-in personal computer hard disk drives.
