Vibration Control of Smart Cantilever Beam Using Fuzzy Logic Controller

Abstract: This paper presents active vibration control of smart cantilever beam using collocated piezoelectric sensor and actuator. The vibrating response of piezolaminated cantilever beam is modeled using lumped mass approach. Fuzzy logic controller is used to control the vibration, and 49 rules have been established to develop the controller.
