Điều khiển các vật thể bay là bài toán khó và được nhiều nhà khoa học quan tâm trong những thập kỷ gần đây. Bài toán điều khiển máy bay hạ cánh là một trong lớp bài toán đó. Trong nghiên cứu này, đối tượng được điều khiển là một mô hình máy bay đã đơn giản hoá. Sự khó khăn trong điều khiển đó là đảm bảo mối quan hệ ràng buộc giữa lực điều khiển, độ cao và vận tốc của máy bay. Điều khiển hạ cánh cho mô hình được thực hiện bằng thiết kế các bộ điều khiển dựa trên lý thuyết mờ và đại số gia tử với hệ luật và các tham số điều khiển giống nhau. Các kết quả tính toán, mô phỏng cho thấy hiệu quả vượt trội về giảm độ cao, giảm vận tốc hạ cánh, lực điều khiển cực đại và thời gian tính toán (CPU time) của bộ điều khiển dựa trên đại số gia tử so với bộ điều khiển dựa trên lý thuyết mờ. Như vậy, có thể thấy rằng bộ điều khiển dựa trên đại số gia tử có nhiều tiềm năng để ứng dụng trong lớp bài toán này cũng như trong điều khiển chuyển động của các mô hình cơ học khác.

This study investigates a multi-objective optimal solution for active Hedge-algebras-based control of building structures subjected to earthquakes. The stability condition of the system is considered the constraint in the optimization process. Values in reference ranges of the state variables and the control variable of the Hedge-algebras-based controller are considered as design variables. The objective functions simultaneously minimize the system’s peak relative displacement and absolute acceleration. The simulation results show that the optimized Hedge-algebras-based controllers have a higher efficiency than the published studies for primary objectives: the structure’s peak relative displacement and absolute acceleration. In addition, the Pareto front, representing a trade-off level between the above primary objectives, allows selecting the appropriate configuration of the controller for the controlled models.

Instead of handling fuzzy sets associated with linguistic (L-) labels based on the developers’ intuition immediately, the study follows the hedge algebras (HA-) approach to the time series forecasting problems, in which the linguistic time series forecasting model was, for the first time, proposed and examined in 2020. It can handle the declared forecasting L-variable word-set directly and, hence, the terminology linguistic time-series (LTS) is used instead of the fuzzy time-series (FTS). Instead of utilizing a limited number of fuzzy sets, this study views the L-variable under consideration as to the numeric forecasting variable's human linguistic counterpart. Hence, its word-domain becomes potentially infinite to positively utilize the HA-approach formalism for increasing the LTS forecasting result exactness. Because the forecasting model proposed in this study can directly handle L-words, the LTS, constructed from the numeric time series and its L-relationship groups, considered human knowledges of the given time-series variation helpful for the human-machine interface. The study shows that the proposed formalism can more easily handle the LTS forecasting models and increase their performance compared to the FTS forecasting models when the words’ number grows.
