Latar Belakang: Autisme Spectrum Disorder (ASD) merupakan sekumpulan gangguan klinis yang ditandai dengan penurunan persisten komunikasi dan interaksi sosial dalam berbagai konteks termasuk penurunan perilaku komunikatif nonverbal dan ketidakmampuan dalam mengembangkan, memelihara dan memahami hubungan. Banyak anak dengan ASD memperoleh hasil yang buruk dalam interaksi sosial sehingga memberikan terapi yang tepat sangat penting dilakukan agar memperoleh hasil yang optimal di masa depan. Tujuan: studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan robot untuk meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial pada anak dengan Autisme Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Metode: studi ini merupakan literatur review. Database dan e-resource yang digunakan adalah CINAHL, Pub Med, ProQuest, Science Direct, Scopus dan SAGE dengan beberapa kata kunci robotics, autisme spectrum disorder, interaction social, dan communication. Hasil: Dari 1610 artikel yang disaring menjadi 10 artikel ditemukan bahwa robot memberikan dampak positif dalam interaksi sosial anak ASD. Kesimpulan: Robot dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan interaksi sosial pada Anak ASD

The Corona crisis has ultimately affected societies, affecting both young and elder and other economic and academic life aspects. The emergence of this crisis prevented millions of students from heading to the study benches, which negatively affected the educational level. The global health crisis of extreme severity requires diligent work and urgent action to continue the education. Therefore, most countries resorted to quick solutions that were adjusted over time to suit the requirements of the stage. This paper focuses on studying the impact of the Corona crisis on the academic level of students and the rate of interaction with the course material. First, we designed questionnaires to collect data on the impact of the Corona crisis on students in terms of communication and the psychological impact of social distancing and not attending classrooms. The data analysis also helped in finding mathematical models that show the impact of Corona on students. The results of the ANOVA test related to the academic level showed that there is a significant discrepancy between the two samples by 3.925. The (sig.) value is 0.002, confirming a significant difference between the academic level groups and the postgraduate students, who faced more difficulties in studying online with an average of 3.925 compared to diploma level students (3.52). The study also proved that the participants were more aware of following the procedures in dealing with COVID (based on the Sig value of 0.003), and the largest number of female participants was with an average square (14,184). In addition, COVID-19 reduced the contact between relatives based on the Sig value of 0.004.

Autism is a disease, which affects the child's ability to communicate with those around them and develop mutual relations with them and hence it needs to have a quick and efficient treatment technique. The earliest age of ASD diagnosis is between 4.5 and 5.5 years. Approximately 6 per 1000 children under eight years suffer from ASD. Statistics show an annual increase of the disease about 3,500 cases of children with autism in the Sultanate of Oman. The aim of this work is to design an Interactive Learning System based Windows Application for teaching the children with Autism. The Windows Application is developed using C# which will be useful to teach the children different things such as Alphabets, Numbers, Fruits, Vegetables and many more. The application is a bi-lingual application (English and Arabic). The application can be used also to test the progress of the children. Also, develop interactive materials that help children with special needs for enhancing their communicating and thinking. In addition develop interactive materials that help children with special needs for enhancing their communication and rational skills which could help them to integrate into the society.
