Vesicle-mediated transport-related genes predict the prognosis and immune microenvironment in hepatocellular carcinoma

Zhiyue Ye,
Yang Wang,
Ruixin Yuan
et al.

Abstract: Background : Liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death. The prognostic outcomes of advanced LIHC patients are poor. Hence, reliable prognostic biomarkers for LIHC are urgently needed. Methods : Data for vesicle-mediated transport-related genes (VMTRGs) were profiled from 338 LIHC and 50 normal tissue samples downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Univariate Cox regression and Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Oper… Show more

“…Ten fresh surgical specimens were collected from LIHC patients, and the informed consent was obtained from the Review Board of Nankai University (NKUIRB2021043). IHC staining was performed as previously described ( Qi et al, 2019a ; Qi et al, 2019b ; Li et al, 2022 ; Ye et al, 2024 ). Briefly, after deparaffinization, rehydration, and antigen-retrieval treatment with 10 mM sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) at 120°C for five minutes, the slides were treated with hydrogen peroxide to quench endogenous peroxidase, blocked with goat serum, and incubated with anti-RAB42 Ab (1:20; sc-130482.…”
