Vertical Transport Timescale of Surface‐Produced Particulate Material in the Chesapeake Bay

Abstract: Accumulation and remineralization of surface‐produced particulate organic matter (POM) in the water column and seabed link closely to hypoxia and the health of aquatic ecosystems.
