Vertical depletion of ophiolitic mantle decodes melt focusing and interaction in the asthenospheric column under oceanic spreading centers

Abstract: Adiabatic decompressional melting of asthenosphere under spreading centers has been accepted to produce vertical compositional variations of oceanic lithospheric mantle.
