Энтерококкоз птиц -заболевание, которое проявляется поражением органов опорнодвигательной системы и сопровождается хромотой, атаксией, спондилитом, некрозом головки бедренной кости, бактериальным хондронекрозом. Его превалирующий возбудитель на территории Российской Федерации -бактерия Enterococcus cecorum (EC). Заболевание может возникать среди ремонтного молодняка (преимущественно петушков) в возрасте 1-7 нед, товарных бройлеров в возрасте 3-5 нед и у родительского поголовья в период пика продуктивности. В настоящей работе на основании результатов изучения патогенных, антигенных и иммуногенных свойств культур Enterococcus cecorum впервые разработана и апробирована отечественная вакцина против энтерококкоза. В условиях промышленного птицеводческого предприятия было доказано, что разработанное средство безвредно для птицы различных возрастных групп и обладает необходимой протективной эффективностью. Цель исследования -разработка средства специфической профилактики энтерококкоза сельскохозяйственной птицы и оценка эффективности полученного препарата. При изучении эпизоотической обстановки по энтерококкозу птицы в 2017-2018 годах на территории Российской Федерации было установлено неблагополучие на 11 птицеводческих предприятиях в Белгородской, Владимирской, Ярославской, Калужской, Челябинской, Тверской и Пензенской областях, а также в Республиках Мари-Эл и Удмуртия. Всего исследовали 647 проб паренхиматозных органов и тканей, полученных от птицы кросса Cobb 500 с типичным клинико-морфологическим проявлением энтерококкоза. Штаммы E. cecorum №№ 414,

“…E. cecorum is mostly responsible for osteomyelitis, spondylitis, vertebral osteoarthritis, and femoral head necrosis ( 1 , 6 , 7 ), causing substantial losses in broiler production due to culling, mortality, condemnations at the slaughterhouse, veterinary costs, and increased exposure to antibiotics ( 6 , 8 , 9 ). The development of E. cecorum infections is multifactorial and depends on host genetics, rapid growth, feed composition, husbandry procedures, and animal density in combination with the pathogenic potential of the bacterium ( 10 – 13 ). The present report describes the clinical, gross pathologic and radiologic features of vertebral osteomyelitis in a black spiny-tailed iguana (Ctenosaura similis) and a red tegu (Salvator refuscens). Both lizards were presented with hind limb ataxia and proprioception deficits and based on radiographic and computed tomographic imaging, a presumptive diagnosis of vertebral osteomyelitis was made. Microbiological examination of vertebral body biopsies revealed Morganella morganii and Enterococcus faecalis infection in the iguana and Enterobacter cloacae infection in the tegu. Failure of antimicrobial treatment in both lizards was considered to be at least partly attributable to the tardy onset of clinical signs resulting in a late diagnosis and pronounced chronicity of the vertebral lesions. While vertebral osteomyelitis has been repeatedly reported in snakes, reports in saurian species are scarce and rather anecdotal. Based on the findings in these cases, however, vertebral osteomyelitis should be considered as an important differential diagnosis for hind limb ataxia in lizards.
