Abstract:Introduction: The ectropion is the eyelid malposition characterized by eversion of ciliary margin and exposure of conjunctiva and cornea. In case of lower ectropion, reconstruction can be fulfilled by a variety of already standardized techniques such as the widely used tarsal strip.
