Verifiable data streaming with efficient update for intelligent automation systems

Abstract: The wide deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices enables the controller to continuously collect massive volume data in automation systems, and makes it possible to make intelligent decisions based on machine learning techniques. In fact, data-driven intelligent automation systems have been common in the industrial community. Nevertheless, how to effectively store the collected stream data and ensure their integrity is still challenging. To this end, the notion of verifiable data streaming (VDS) protocol… Show more

“…In order to verify the overall effectiveness of the intelligent surveying and mapping geographic information data update method based on ArcGIS Server, a Shapefile format geographic information dataset was prepared as the experimental object, and ArcGIS Pro was used for data preprocessing operations, including coordinate conversion, format conversion, and data cleaning. The experimental tests were conducted using the methods of reference [2] and reference [3] as comparative methods.…”

“…Therefore, how to achieve real-time updates and efficient management of geographic information data to meet the needs of various fields has become an urgent problem to be solved. Miao et al [2] proposed a new primitive called Double Trap Chameleon Hash Tree (DCHT) to address the challenge of continuously collecting large-scale data in intelligent automation systems, and based on this, designed a novel Verifiable Data Stream (VDS) protocol. This protocol utilizes the unique properties of DCHT to achieve uninterrupted data updates.…”

“…In Saadatmand‐Tarzjan and Moghaddam, 31 a novel evolutionary approach named evolutionary group algorithm (EGA) is proposed for complicated, time‐consuming optimization problems such as finding optimal parameters of data indexing algorithms. In addition, Niu et al 32 proposed an efficiency ranking‐based evolutionary algorithm to directly gauge the most efficient decision‐making units (DMUs) for power system planning and operation. Chai et al 33 proposed an improved multiobjective evolutionary algorithm for the IoT service (I‐MOEA/D‐IoTS), and further applied the proposed algorithm in the scenarios of agricultural IoT service.…”

“…Recently, Wei et al 13 proposed an optimal VDS protocol with data auditing, and this protocol combined the BLS signature scheme with a RSA cryptographic accumulator and realized the constant communication and calculation cost. Miao et al 14 extended a VDS protocol with constant update cost. Furthermore, Other works have expanded the functionality of the original VDS protocol, so as to fulfill the security requirements of several special applications scenarios.…”
