Vergleichende Beobachtungen und Betrachtungen über die Fortpflanzungsbiologie der Ohrwürmer

Abstract: Die Fortpflanzungsbiologie der 5 Ohrwurmarten Anisolabis maritima, Labidura riparia, Prolabia arachidis, Forficula auricularia und F. pubescens wurde beobachtet. a) Das Verhalten bei den Kopulationen ist bei den „niederen“ Ohrwürmern (Labidurides) grundsätzlich ebenso wie bei den „höheren“ (Forficulides). Bei den Labidurides verläuft die Begattung bedeutend schneller als bei den Forficulides. b) Ovoviviparie ist nur von Prolabia arachidis bekannt. Die Eiablagen finden in Bruthöhlen statt.
