Ventricular Septal Rupture and Mitral Regurgitation Caused by Trauma

Abstract: We present a young patient with traumatic septal rupture following traffic accident in whom transthoracic echocardiography allowed comprehensive noninvasive assessment of location and size of the septal defect and structure atrioventricular valve apparatus.
