Ventricular septal defect and mitral regurgitation complicating acute myocardial infarction

Abstract: Summary:We report a case of rare incidence of both ventricular septal rupture and mitral regurgitation that followed an acute myocardial infarction in a 77-year-old woman. The literature contains few reports of such cases. The following reports both events and the progression of the clinical events.
