Velvetbean Caterpillar Control in Soybean, 1987

Abstract: The experiment was located in Gadsden County, Fla., and planted 12 Jun. Plot size was 6 rows × 15 m with a 76-cm row spacing. Experimental design was a randomized complete block, with 4 replications. All treatments were applied 4 Sep, except for a treatment of the velvetbean caterpillar (VBC) plaque-purified nuclear polyhedrosis virus (AgNPV), which was applied 28 Aug.
