Velocity Planning System Based on Intelligent Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperative Technology

Abstract: Travel time, fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions are directly related to the vehicle velocity. In this paper, we aim to give a velocity planning system based on intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperative technology. The system contains two units: road side unit (RSU) and on board unit (OBU). RSU and OBU exchange information with ZigBee protocol.
