La Brigue et le talion de Rodrigo de Zayas y La Tunique d'infamie de Michel del Castillo son dos novelas en francés de dos escritores de origen español que nos hablan de la historia de una España intolerante e inquisitorialIl existe un étrange genre de romancier qui a le pouvoir de « muer » sa voix. Il s'agit d'une cassure linguistique entre voix maternelle et voix narrative, entre une origine espagnole et une écriture française. Ces écrivains espagnols « convertis à la francophonie » tentent la plupart du temps de démêler leurs rapports profonds avec l'Espagne qui devient une source narrative inépuisable. Nous proposons au lecteur deux exemples qui, depuis le XX e siècle, nous parlent de l'histoire d'une certaine Espagne noire et retracent, par un jeu polyphonique, un dédale de voix toutefois d'une parfaite lisibilité.
