Vegetation features of two vascular plant species presumed extinct and recently rediscovered in the natural habitat of community interest 8320 from Mt. Vesuvius, Italy

Abstract: This paper illustrates the results of a survey aimed at deepening knowledge on vegetation in which Festuca lachenalii and Ophioglossum lusitanicum were recently discovery on Mt. Vesuvius (Italy) after about 200 and 150 years from the last observation, respectively. Both species were previously thought to be locally extinct.
