“…Moy et al (2009) and Kilian and Lamy (2012) suggest that the different signal shown in these data set could be attributed to the location of the records in different ecological environments; the depositional environment, and local differences in the sensitivity of eastern Andean vegetation ecotones to changes in precipitation.
