Vascular endothelial dysfunction, a major mediator in diabetic cardiomyopathy

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus is currently a major public health problem. A common complication of diabetes is cardiac dysfunction, which is recognized as a microvascular disease that leads to morbidity and mortality in diabetic patients.
