Various topological descriptors and corresponding Entropies of Iridium cored Dendrimer

Abstract: Measures of graph entropy have been widely used in information theory, biology, chemistry, and sociology, among other disciplines. The entropy of a probability distribution may be thought of as both an indicator of information and an indicator of uncertainty, and it is a number used in information theory to gauge the complexity of a graph. Mathematical and medicinal chemistry, including drug design, have previously made extensive use of information-theoretic network complexity measurements. Dendrimers belong t… Show more

“…There are various topological descriptors used in the analysis of dendrimers including; Distance-based descriptors which are based on the distance between atoms in a dendrimer. They can be used to analyze the branching pattern and connectivity of dendrimers [1,7], Connection-based descriptors which are based on the connectivity of atoms in a dendrimer. They can be used to analyze the connectivity and branching pattern of dendrimers [5], Degreebased topological descriptors that quantify the connectivity and degree of atoms in a dendrimer.…”
