Abstract:The aim of this study was to develop methods for determining the most significant contrasts in satellite ocean color data arising in the presence of a submesoscale eddy structure, as well as to determine the corresponding depths of the upper layer of the sea where these contrasts are formed. The research was carried out on the example of the chain of submesoscale eddies identified in the Tumen River water transport area in the Japan/East Sea. MODIS Aqua/Terra satellite data of the remotely sensed reflectance (… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
