Variation in the chemical composition of Capsosiphon fulvescens with area and during the harvest period

Abstract: In this study, variations in Capsosiphon fulvescens composition with area and during the harvest period were assessed by analysis of crude protein, ash, and carbohydrate content. C. fulvescens in Janghung showed the highest crude protein content in December and the highest carbohydrate content in February.
