Variation in Licensed Nurse Staffing Characteristics by State Requirements in Residential Care

Abstract: Research on licensed nurses in assisted living and residential care communities (RCCs) is sparse compared to that on licensed nurses in nursing homes. RCCs are state-regulated; thus, staffing requirements vary considerably.
