Variation at metaphase-I inLathyrus

Abstract: Diploid Lathyrus amphicarpos, L. sativus and L. tingitanus (Leguminosae) showed no significant difference in mean chiasma frequency, despite their differences in genome size. Highly significant phenotypic differences were detected within each species.
