In the Minangkabau language of Indonesia, the class of nouns can have multiple forms, which are used frequently in everyday conversation. The Minangkabau language contains examples of both of these types of word reduplication. According to our line of reasoning, reduplication occurs when the Minangkabau language, which is currently in a relatively complex linguistic state, becomes one of the internal states with power in speech when the speaker delivers it. In addition to the functions and meanings that emerge as a direct consequence of these replications, the phenomenon provides very convincing evidence. First, this article describes the various types of reduplication found within the class of nouns in the Minangkabau language. After that, the functions and meanings derived from each type of reduplication will be found. Specifically, the article focuses on the duplication of nouns and discusses the reduplication of adjectives and verbs. To accomplish this goal, the distributional method and various applications of the technique are the approaches that are taken as their respective approaches. As a result of the findings of the analysis, several distinct types of reduplication forms were found to exist within the Minangkabau language. The first category included nothing but nouns that were used repeatedly. The second point is that the affix is present within the noun itself. Third, the term "pseudo-repetitive nouns" is repeated within the noun. The meaning conveyed by the duplication of the nomina in the Minangkabau language includes the following: the sense of similarity; the sense of plural; the sense of intensity or emphasis; and the sense of similarity. It is an essential factor that using a suitable learning model will enhance the learning outcomes for students. Project Based Learning (PJBL) is cosidered one of the learning model that guide the student to study inside the classroom and on the industrial world. The students learn theoritically and practically. This research was to find out the strength and weakness of PJBL during teaching and learning inside and outside of the classroom. It used qualitative research by using descriptive design. Data were collected by using interview question using semi structure interview and documentation. Data were analyzed by using theory of Miles & Huberman and Mc Carthy about discourse analysis. There were 71 students becoming the sample of the research from Politeknik Negeri Padang. After conducting the research, it is found some strengths and weaknesses of the PJBL for teaching and learning. PJBL. The strengths are for example: improving the student motivation, making the student to be diligent and challenging, being able to solve the problem, increasing the student collaboration and cooperation, teaching the student to make decision and conceptual framework, and how to work on the field. For the weakness are for example: taking much time and money, difficult to collect the information and best decision, do not make all student creative and innovative, and needing sufficient facilities and technologies to do the project.

The aim of this research was to investigate whether the use of bimodal subtitling in English movies can increase students’ vocabulary mastery. This research used quantitative method in the form of pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects of this research were 16 students of class X TLM 2 of SMK Teknologi Muhammadiyah Limboto in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research used purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data was used as a vocabulary test as the instrument of this research. The data was analyzed by using paired sample t-test calculations with the help of SPSS program 23 version. The outcome demonstrated a statistically significant increase in the students' mean score between the pretest and posttest with a significant level of α= 0.05. The result showed the value of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 lower than < 0.05, which means H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that there was an influence of the use of bimodal subtitling in English movies to increase students’ vocabulary mastery.
